Introduction
To perform cleaning activities at the security area.
Job description
- Clean offices, security areas i.e., search rooms and toilets daily
- Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors
- Clean floors and walls by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing
- Dust furniture and walls
- Change bathroom towels as needed
- Gather and empty rubbish bins
- Spray insecticides as directed to prevent insect infestation
- Check cleaning material stock availability and inform the supervisor
- Ensure compliance to good housekeeping standards in and around security areas
- Ensure compliance to all B2Gold Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures
Minimum requirements
- Minimum Grade 10
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
- Experience in a mining environment will be an advantage
- Candidates who reside in Otjiwarongo and/or Otavi will have an added advantage
