Introduction
B2Gold Namibia requires the service of a Boilermaker Trade Graduate. The successful candidate will be trained as a Trade Artisan and will be employed on a fixed term Graduate contract.
Job description
- Perform day to day maintenance within required parameters
- Inspect chutes and liners, pipes and related infrastructure and other wear areas
- Building and installation of chutes, liners, pipes and launders
- Read and understand engineering drawings for manufacturing and construction
- Creating and closing-out work orders on completed work
- Reporting to the Supervisor and relevant foreman on work progress and overruns
- Work effectively within a team
- Working shift and standby as required
- Ensure compliance to all B2Gold Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures
Minimum requirements
- Must be a Namibian citizen
- Have a Boilermaker Trade Certificate not older than 18 months from the date of qualification with a National N3 Diploma
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- BE driver’s license
